These two bubbly Brits have not long arrived in NZ to head up the team at Candy Bar. I was curious to know all about them, so these two fabulous girls kindly agreed to a Q&A session with LadyFix.

If you haven’t already heard, the infamous Candy Bar is due to open in Auckland Friday 16th April.
Candy Bar launched in 1996 in Soho, London and was one of the first full time Lesbian bars in London. A sister venue in Brighton shortly followed and both bars have successfully operated for over 10 years. Continued…

The LadyFix girls have some fun in the Foam Bouncy Castle
Beresford Street was cordoned off and 1200 people turned up for the debut event.
I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed fun atmosphere. There was lots to see and do. The kiwi iconic band Ardijah played on the main stage, the foam bouncy castle was entertaining and the LadyFix tent was lots of fun.
Speaking of the LadyFix tent – DJ Marjorie kicked off the evening and got everyone dancing with a great set. Watch out girls, this hot DJ has just hit the scene; she is Brazilian…say no more

Big Gay Day raised $12,000 for Body Positive Inc.
I believe Auckland Gay Day will continue to grow and become more successful every year and I’m glad to be able to add another must attend event to the ‘gay’ calendar.
